DEAR SIR
I AM ASKING ABOUT TDS Q4 LAST DATE , PLEASE TELL ME YOUR ANSWER.
THANKING YOU
Dear Sir,
Due date for file TCS return is as under:
Quarter Due date from 01/06/2016
Q-1 15th of July
Q-2 15th of October
Q-3 15th of January
Q-4 15th of May
Please update the same.
Dear Mr. Sunil,
Thanks for your comment.
There has been no new notification by the IT Department after 29th April and TCS was not properly clarified. However, based on the circular dated 28/06/2016 of NSDL to all tax deductors /collectors (which is the backbone of TIN), the filing date of TCS has been explicitly mentioned as 31st July. After this circular there has been no rejoinder communication from NSDL. We can safely assume that it was issued as per the guidelines of the IT Department.
IT Department has made an effort for having a common date for return filing (for all categories) eliminating a whole lot of confusion. Earlier the date was different for Govt. & Non-Government Deductors. Going by sheer logic and intent, it is very unlikely that filing date for TCS would be different.
Please refer to the following article which contains the text of NSDL circular:
